About Us

Lakewood Orchard is a neighborhood of 109 single-family homes, situated on both sides of Cedar Lake Road, between Routes 120 and 60 in Round Lake, IL.  “The Orchard” was an offshoot of a larger community development by Lakewood Homes Builders in 2005.

The Lakewood Orchard Homeowner’s Association is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation chartered to preserve and maintain the common property and natural open areas throughout the Lakewood Orchard subdivision, including, but not limited to, three detention ponds and natural wetland areas, cul-de-sac medians, walking path, perimeter fencing, tot lot playground, and berm area of Cedar Lake Road proximal to the fence-line.

The Homeowner’s Association (HOA) is run by an elected group residents of Lakewood Orchard, forming the HOA Board, for the purpose of overseeing the neighborhood obligations as stated above, set forth by the builder, and controlled by the Governing Documents officially filed with Recorder of Lake County, IL in 2005.

The Lakewood Orchard HOA Board of Directors has hired Heather McArthur of Premier Residential Management to attend to the day-to-day business of the Association.  Under the guidance and direction of the HOA Board, Premier Residential handles the collection of annual dues, manages and oversees contracts for services such as landscaping, pond care, and maintenance of HOA assets, enforcement of Rules and Regulations, process Architectural Review requests, consult for legal guidance when necessary, and is the daily point-of-contact for communication with homeowners.
